We're constantly looking for models to allow our talented stylists, trainees & beauty therapists to showcase and develop their skills by creating your ideal cut, colour or treatment. Models are an important part of our ongoing professional training, helping both new and qualified team members refine techniques, perfect new services, and maintain the highest standards within the salon.
 

We also occasionally require models when assessing potential new hires and their practical abilities. Every appointment is carefully supervised by our experienced experts, ensuring you receive high-quality service at a fraction of the standard price. WHY DO YOU REQUIRE MODELS?
At Allure, ongoing education is incredibly important to us. Our team regularly completes advanced training courses throughout the year with leading brands including L’Oréal & Kérastase, alongside additional education in cutting, colouring, skincare and beauty treatments. Models allow our team to practise and perfect new techniques under professional supervision before introducing them fully into salon services.

 

WILL I KNOW WHAT MY APPOINTMENT INVOLVES BEFOREHAND?
Absolutely. Every model call and appointment request will clearly explain exactly what service is being offered, the level of stylist or therapist carrying it out, and whether the appointment is part of training, an advanced education course or a trade test for a potential new team member. We always want you to feel fully informed and comfortable before booking.

HOW LONG WILL MY APPOINTMENT TAKE?
Please allow up to 2 hours for a blowdry, 3 hours for a cut & blowdry and upto 6 hours for a colour cut & blowdry.
Extra long / thick hair may take longer.


CAN I CHOOSE A SPECIFIC CUT OR COLOUR?
Our​ trainees will always carry out a full consultation before carrying out any service, however some model calls will be for specific cuts or colours detailed in our emails. Some model calls will be for the more adventerous, others will be for classic looks.

 


WHO WILL COMPLETE MY APPOINTMENT?
You'll be in the capable hands of our trainee stylists who have varying levels of experience. Our trainees are fully supervised by our salon team throughout the appointment. Occasionally we may also be requring models for qualified stylists to either showcase their skills before potentially joining our team or for our ongoing educational courses we complete throughout the year. 

 

CAN I CANCEL?
Our model appointments are designed to help our team members advance in their careers and may be required for assessments with external educators, who have also scheduled time to attend the salon. To safeguard everybodies time from being wasted, most of our trainee appointments will require an upfront payment of between 25% to 100% of the service cost at the time of booking to secure the appointment.  We understand though that sometimes life happens, that's why  this payment is fully transferable to a new appointment if at least 48 hours' notice is given to cancel the original appointment.

 

DO I NEED TO HAVE A PATCH TEST?
If you haven't had a colour at Allure in the previous 6 months a patch test will be required atleast 24 hours prior to any colour appointment.

 


HOW MUCH WILL MY APPOINTMENT COST?
Our prices vary from free and upto half price, on average most appointments are around 75% cheaper than our standard pricing. Pricing also varies depending on the service and the trainee level, we will always advertise the price of an appointment beforehand and display it on our emails whenever we contact you.
